The two seat eco car concept from VW or known as ‘one-litre’ car need only 1 litre of fuel to drive 100 km. It’s expected to hit mass production stage in 2012 when the cost of the carbonfibre monocoque dropped from £28,000 to £4000. As a comparison, my motorcylce ‘Honda Vario‘ only capable of one litre per 30km.
