The LF-LC 2+2 hybrid Sport coupe concept vehicle was introduced by Lexus at Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS 2012). This concept vehicle created at Lexus’ Calty Design center in Newport Beach, California. Featuring a glass-to-glass roof pillar, the vehicle also has a sliding glass roof and jet-afterburners-inspired tail lamp. On the inside, you will find two 12.3-inch LCD screen, GPS device, and an iPad-like tech board for controling navigation, audio, and climate. There are also 4-inch screen on the doors that enable passengers to control the windows, mirrors, seat adjustments, and entertainment features.
At the NAIAS 2012, the Lexus LF-LC 2+2 Hybrid Sport Coupe also won the 2012 EyesOn Design Award as the best concept car. If it’s the first time you heard the EyesOn Design Awards, it’s annual awards those recognize the skill and creativity of designers in the areas of Aesthetics and Innovation, Concept Implementation, Functionality and Spirit of Industrial Design and are awarded in production and concept categories.

Honda unveiled the all-new Accord Coupe Concept during the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Expected to hit the streets this fall, the 2013 Accord will introduce three new features including: Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and the Honda-exclusive LaneWatch™ blind spot display. Regarding powertrains, the 2013 Accord Coupe will be offered in thre different types including a 2.4-liter direct-injected 4-cylinder, a 3.5-liter V-6 and a plug-in hybrid featuring a 120 kW electric motor.

The members of blink-182 enthusiastically supplied meticulous design and direction for the all-new 2012 Civic Si coupe that they customized for the 2011 Honda Civic Tour. Santini Paint USA painted the car, recasting the car’s body in bad-ass matte black per blink’s specifications. Adorning the side panel are the blink bunny character and band signatures, while blink-182’s logo is splashed across the Si’s hood. The Honda Civic Tour logo offers a parting shot on the vehicle’s rear, and the exterior showcases Honda Factory Performance upgraded aero parts, including lower front and rear spoilers; larger side skirts; and powder-coated matte black 18” Lightning wheels by Konig with Toyo Proxes tires. Says the band’s resident auto-enthusiast Travis Barker, “I like how stealth the Civic Si is… the satin paint and the way the graphics pop on the side.”
