Winnebago Industries unveils the new Winnebago Vista for 2011. This motor home offers five floorplans, with the new 35F and 36D making their debut in 2011. The new 35F features a bath and a half floorplan design, with a “BIG” 36-inch x 36-inch shower. The new 36D floor plan offers a more conventional double slide layout that incorporates abundant storage and an available, innovative computer desk workstation.

In September Porsche will begin offering a Panamera Turbo Powerkit that increases engine output to 540 horsepower (standard is 500 horsepower). Other personalization upgrades include a Sport Design Package and the new 20-inch Panamera Sport wheels for the Panamera Turbo and the other Porsche V6- and V8-powered Panamera models.

Collins Bus Corporation announced it has completed the certification process for its new NexBus Propane school bus and has begun full production. Collins Bus Corporation is the first Type-A bus builder to produce dedicated propane powered buses which will be available under the Collins, Mid Bus, and Corbeil brands. Phoenix Motorcars presented its newly configured Sports Utility Truck at the FedFleet 2010 Conference in Phoenix, Arizona on July 13-15, 2010. Phoenix Motorcars’ advanced battery-electric, zero-emission Sports Utility Truck can travel at freeway speeds while carrying four passengers and a full payload. Providing solutions geared towards today’s fleet operators, Phoenix Motorcars offers a 70 mile range pack with deliveries later this year. An extended 100 mile range pack option will be available for delivery in 2011. Each solution is equipped with lithium batteries. Phoenix Motorcars will shortly begin production making initial deliveries in late 2010. Initial vehicles will be included in demonstration programs, such as those previously announced in Hawaii, and fleet operations in various locations, including California.
